Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother comes from Spanish and English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six when the family moved into Victoria at the time of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to learn English in hopes of going again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to focus her full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress at a young age. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
