The singer released her debut Know It All album in the year that followed. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was among five tracks that made it to the top charts on Billboard as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto in Canada. She was born July 11, 1996, to parents with Italian origins. Her parents gifted her with an instrument when she was 10 years old, which ignited her love for music.
